The Washington State House elections, 2012 had primaries held on August 7, 2012[1] and general elections held on November 6, 2012[2] determining who will represent each of the 49 Legislative Districts in the state of Washington in the Washington State House of Representatives. Each district elects two representatives who are elected for two-year terms.
A top two primary election on August 7, 2012, determined which two candidates would appear on the November ballot. Candidate were allowed to write in their party preference.[3]
