The 2018 Taiwan Open – Singles was an event of the 2018 Taiwan Open women's tennis tournament, held in Taipei, Taiwan. The draw comprised 32 players and eight of them were seeded, with Peng Shuai as the top seed. Elina Svitolina was the defending champion, but withdrew before the tournament began. Fourth-seeded Tímea Babos won the title, defeating Kateryna Kozlova in the final, 7–5, 6–1.[1][2]
