赭土

赭土

赭土是一种褐色礦物[1]: 39 ，可以用作顏料，赭土由铁氧化物和氧化锰组成。赭土被认为是人类已知最古老的颜料之一，在阿旃陀石窟中就有發現赭土。 [2] : 378 赭石的优点在于其干的快。 [3] : 148–49 赭土主要产于塞浦路斯。 [4] : 250  20世纪，人工合成的染料兴起降低了人們对赭土等天然颜料的需求。
